DuBois Christian's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Friday after their fourth straight loss. They received a tough blow as they fell 45-28 to Blair County Christian. If DuBois Christian hoped to take revenge for the 45-31 loss against they when the teams met, then they were left disappointed.
Blair County Christian had a senior duo take command as Ealor Burket scored 20 points along with four steals and Caedmon Dull scored eight points along with 11 rebounds and eight assists. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Burket has scored all season. Jonathan Marucci was another key contributor, scoring nine points along with three steals.
DuBois Christian's defeat dropped their record down to 0-3. As for Blair County Christian, the victory was the fifth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 8-3.
DuBois Christian will head out on the road to square off against Calvary Christian Academy at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. One thing working in Calvary Christian Academy's favor is that they have posted big point totals in their last three games. As for Blair County Christian, they will look to defend their home court on Monday against Johnstown Christian at 7:00 p.m. Johnstown Christian is hoping to put an end to a three-game streak of away losses.
