Basketball Recap: Orange Glen Takes a Loss

Orange Glen was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their 28th straight loss dating back to last season. They were beaten by the Foothills Christian Knights 79-37. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Knights this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 65-31 back in January.

Foothills Christian's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Patrick Delahoussaye, who posted 22 points. The matchup was Delahoussaye's fifth in a row with at least 15 points. Joey Turk was another key player, putting up 18 points.

Orange Glen's defeat dropped their record down to 0-26. As for Foothills Christian, the win was the sixth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 16-9.

Orange Glen wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 64-35 loss against Calvin Christian on the 7th. As for Foothills Christian, they have also already played their next game, a 69-58 defeat against Escondido Charter on the 7th.
