Volleyball Recap: Marmaton Valley Takes a Loss

Fans were treated to a battle of the Wildcats on Tuesday. Marmaton Valley took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of Yates Center. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against Yates Center this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 2-0 on Saturday.

Marmaton Valley's defeat dropped their record down to 1-5-3. As for Yates Center, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 8-3.

After both having extra time off, Marmaton Valley and Uniontown will shake off the rust and duke it out on Tuesday. The last three games the Eagles have played have been within one set, so don't be surprised if it's a close one. As for Yates Center, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 2-1 loss against Eureka on the 9th.
