Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Northeast). They simply couldn't be stopped on Thursday as they easily beat the Pasco Pirates 54-17. Perhaps unsurprisingly given the team's high-flying offense, the game also marked the team's biggest win of the season.
McKinley Joseph was a one-woman wrecking crew for Northeast as she went 6 for 13 en route to 19 points and four steals. Joseph continues to improve, besting her previous point total in each of the last four games she's played. Jy'Aira Washington was another key player, putting up 15 points and four steals.
Northeast was working as a unit and finished the game with 11 assists. That's the most assists they've posted since back in November of 2024.
