Soccer Recap: Chicago Christian Snags Seventh Victory in Last Nine Games

Chicago Christian kept a clean sheet against Reed-Custer on Tuesday. They blew past the Comets 7-0. The high-scoring effort was just what Chicago Christian needed considering they were shut out in their previous match.

They hit Reed-Custer with a three-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Casey Lenarz (4), Garret Murphy (2), and Aaron Vis.

Chicago Christian is on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last nine games. That's provided a nice bump to their 9-5 record this season. The victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 30 goals over those nine contests. As for Reed-Custer, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-9-1.

Coming up, Chicago Christian will challenge Crete-Monee at 5:15 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Reed-Custer, they will take on Rich Township in a tournament on Wednesday.
