Baseball Recap: Pilot Grove Comes Up Short

If Pilot Grove was feeling good fresh off their 13-4 takedown of Northwest on Monday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Tigers fell just short of the Fayette Falcons by a score of 7-6 on Tuesday. The Tigers haven't had much luck with the Falcons recently, as the team has come up short the last three times they've met.

Pilot Grove's defeat dropped their record down to 12-9. As for Fayette, they pushed their record up to 12-8 with the victory, which was their fourth straight on the road.

Looking ahead, Pilot Grove will be playing in front of their home fans against Otterville at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. Fayette does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
