Softball Preview: Goodhue Wildcats vs. Southland Rebels
The Goodhue Wildcats will head out to square off against the Southland Rebels at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Goodhue will aim to continue their three-game streak of scoring more runs each game than the last.
Having struggled with three losses in a row, Goodhue turned things around against Kenyon-Wanamingo on Monday. They were the clear victors by a 17-4 margin over the Knights. Considering the Wildcats have won six matches by more than five runs this season, Monday's blowout was nothing new.
Emma Voth was a major factor no matter where she played. On the mound, she didn't allow a single earned run over five innings pitched. She has been consistent: she hasn't given up more than two walks in five consecutive appearances. She was also stellar in the batter's box, going 3-for-4 with five RBI, one triple, and one double. That's the most hits she has posted since back in April.

In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Jenna Nelson, who went a perfect 4-for-4 with three runs, three RBI, and one stolen base. Those four hits gave her a new career-high.
