Basketball Recap: Carson Comes Up Short

Carson was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their ninth straight loss. They were dealt an 88-39 defeat at the hands of the Bishop Manogue Miners. While losing is never fun, the Senators can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Nevada basketball rankings (they are ranked 76th, while the Miners are ranked 19th).

Carson's loss dropped their record down to 6-19. As for Bishop Manogue, they have been performing well recently as they've won eight of their last ten matchups, which provided a massive bump to their 15-10 record this season.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: Bishop Manogue beat Carson by a score of 88-39 on Tuesday.
