Basketball Recap: Clinton Comes Up Short

The Clinton Cougars were outmatched by the Monroe Cheesemakers and fell 70-42. The defeat continues a trend for the Cougars in their matchups with the Cheesemakers: they've now lost three in a row.

Clinton's loss dropped their record down to 11-8. As for Monroe, they pushed their record up to 12-6 with the victory, which was their fourth straight on the road.

Coming up, Clinton will look to defend their home court on Thursday against Big Foot at 7:00 p.m. Clinton is facing Big Foot at the right time seeing as Big Foot is stuck on a three-game losing streak. As for Monroe, they have already played their next matchup, a 73-70 defeat against Milton on the 10th.
