It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Grand Forks Central can now relate to. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Minot Magicians on Thursday. Grand Forks Central haven't had much luck with Minot recently, as the team has come up short the last three times they've met.

Grand Forks Central's loss dropped their record down to 7-5-3. As for Minot, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 13-2-3.

Looking ahead, Grand Forks Central will take on West Fargo at 1:11 a.m. on Friday. Minot does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
