Baseball Recap: Twin Valley Panthers vs. Mount View Golden Knights
Sadly, Twin Valley is still looking for their first win of the season after eight contests. They wound up on the wrong side of a rough 25-9 walloping at the hands of the Mount View Golden Knights on Wednesday. One positive for Twin Valley, at least, is that this was the most points they've scored all season.
For Mount View's part, they let Hunter Muncy and Jacob Wright loose on the outfield. Muncy went 5-for-5 with two stolen bases, five RBI, and two runs, while Wright scored two runs and stole two bases while getting on base in all five of his plate appearances. The team also got some help courtesy of David Little, who scored a run and stole a base while going 1-for-1.
Twin Valley's loss dropped their record down to 0-8. As for Mount View, they pushed their record up to 7-4 with that win, which was their third straight at home.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games.
