Volleyball Recap: Muchin College Prep Comes Up Short

Muchin College Prep was the 2-0 winner over Mansueto when they last played one another on September 3rd, but their luck changed this time around. The Mountain Lions took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Leopards on Monday.

While Muchin College Prep had to settle for second, they sure made a game of it, scoring at least 18 points in every set they played. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-19, 25-18.

Muchin College Prep's defeat dropped their record down to 8-5. As for Mansueto, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won nine of their last ten matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 12-2 record this season.

Muchin College Prep will venture away from home to challenge UIC College Prep at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Mansueto, they will host Juarez at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
