Meanwhile, North Side suffered their closest defeat since September 9, 2023 on Thursday. They fell just short of Polytechnic by a score of 21-18. The Steers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Saginaw pushed their record up to 7-0 with the victory, which was their fourth straight at home dating back to last season. As for North Side, they now have a losing record at 3-4.
