Volleyball Recap: Wes-Del Comes Up Short

Wes-Del lost against Cowan on September 10th and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Warriors fell 2-0 to the Blackhawks. The Warriors have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Cowan to victory, but perhaps none more so than Taylor Young, who had eight digs and two aces. That's the most aces Young has posted over her last four matchups.

Wes-Del's loss dropped their record down to 7-14. As for Cowan, their victory bumped their record up to 8-10.

Wes-Del has already played their next contest, a 2-0 defeat against Blue River Valley on the 27th. As for Cowan, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next match, a 2-1 loss against Morristown on the 27th.
