Basketball Recap: Franklin Heights Beats Grandview Heights for Their Second Straight Victory

If Grandview Heights wanted to avenge their loss from the last time they played Franklin Heights, they should've done a better job of containing Noah Kershaw. The Franklin Heights Falcons walked away with a 76-67 win over the Grandview Heights Bobcats on Tuesday thanks in part to Kershaw, who went 9 for 18 on his way to 26 points and three steals. With that strong performance, he is now averaging an impressive 15.5 points per game.

The victory made it two in a row for Franklin Heights and bumps their season record up to 7-5. As for Grandview Heights, they dropped their record down to 5-10 with the loss, which was their fifth straight at home.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Franklin Heights will take on Bexley at 7:15 p.m. on Saturday. Franklin Heights is facing Bexley at the right time seeing as Bexley is stuck on a three-game losing streak. As for Grandview Heights, they will face off against Columbus Academy at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday.
