Elida put another one in the bag  on Friday to keep their perfect season alive. They came out on top against the Floyd Broncos by a score of  7-2. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won  18-4  on Friday.
 Radlee Ferguson made a splash while hitting and pitching. He looked comfortable on the mound,   tossing 2.2 innings while giving up   no  earned runs or  hits. Those  zero  hits allowed gave  him a new career-low. He was also big at the plate,  scoring two  runs and  stealing two bases while going 1-for-3. He has been hot, having  posted two or more  stolen bases the last five times he's  played.
 In other batting news,  the team  relied heavily on  James Dobbins, who  scored a  run and  stole a base while going 1-for-3.
Elida's victory bumped their record up to 3-0. As for Floyd,  they are  on  a  15-game losing streak  (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-3.
 Coming up, Elida will challenge Dora at 4:00  p.m.  on Monday. Dora has struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 18.8  runs per game on average), something Elida will no doubt try to take advantage of. As for Floyd, they will host Gateway Christian  at 3:00  p.m.  on Monday.
