Volleyball Recap: Seaholm Comes Up Short

After flying high against Farmington on Tuesday, Seaholm came back down to earth. The Maples fell just short of the Royal Oak Ravens by a score of 3-2 on Thursday. The Maples were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Ravens apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in August of 2021.

Seaholm actually scored more points across those five sets (99-96), but sadly they still had to settle for second. The match finished with set scores of 25-22, 14-25, 25-21, 17-25, 15-6.

Seaholm's loss dropped their record down to 7-22-2. As for Royal Oak, with the victory, they broke their four-match losing streak and moved their record to 4-17.

Coming up, Seaholm will face off against North Farmington at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Royal Oak, they will take on Allen Park at 8:00 a.m. on Saturday.
