Softball Recap: Johnsonburg Takes a Loss

Johnsonburg lost against Redbank Valley back in May of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Rams lost 8-1 to the Bulldogs. The Rams have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Johnsonburg saw eight different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Natalie Dunworth, who went 1-for-3 with one stolen base, one run, and one double. Dana Beimel was another, going 3-for-4 with one stolen base.

Johnsonburg's defeat dropped their record down to 4-11. As for Redbank Valley, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 10-6.

Coming up, Johnsonburg will head out on the road to take on Otto-Eldred at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Redbank Valley, they will host Otto-Eldred/Oswayo Valley at 4:30 p.m. on Monday.
