Softball Recap: Pine Bluff Takes a Loss

White Hall hit Pine Bluff with a 12-run first inning on Tuesday, which goes a long way in explaining the final result. The Zebras came up short against the Bulldogs, falling 16-1. The Zebras were not able to make up for their defeat to the Bulldogs from their previous meeting back in April of 2025.

This is the second loss in a row for Pine Bluff and nudges their season record down to 2-2. As for White Hall, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 6-2.

Coming up, Pine Bluff will challenge Forrest City at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for White Hall, they will welcome Arkansas at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Razorbacks have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 12.5 runs per game on average), something the Bulldogs will no doubt try to take advantage of.
