Baseball Recap: East Hickman County Takes a Loss

East Hickman County lost against Mt. Pleasant last Tuesday, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. East Hickman County fell just short of Mt. Pleasant by a score of 6-5. The Eagles have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Anthony Carrillo made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and went 2-for-4 with two doubles and two RBI. Those doubles were his first of the season. The team also got some help courtesy of Alex Martin, who scored a run while going 2-for-4.

East Hickman County's loss dropped their record down to 1-4. As for Mt. Pleasant, the win got them back to even at 2-2.

East Hickman County didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next game, a 17-16 defeat against Hampshire on the 14th. As for Mt. Pleasant, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next contest, an 8-3 victory against Zion Christian Academy on the 14th.
