Basketball Game Preview: Tunstall Trojans vs. Halifax County Comets

Tunstall is 2-8 against Halifax County since January of 2020 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Friday. The Tunstall Trojans will face off against the Halifax County Comets at 7:00 p.m.

Tunstall is headed into Friday's matchup looking for a big change in momentum after dropping their sixth straight game on Tuesday. They fell 37-29 to Martinsville.

Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Halifax County). They walked away with a 57-49 win over Martinsville two weeks ago. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Comets.

Tunstall's defeat dropped their record down to 5-9. As for Halifax County, their victory bumped their record up to 6-9.

Tunstall was able to grind out a solid win over Halifax County in their previous meeting back in December of 2024, winning 53-42. The rematch might be a little tougher for Tunstall since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
