Football Recap: Beaver Falls Tigers vs. Blackhawk Cougars
Beaver Falls had to hit the road for their first game and it wasn't the result they were hoping for. They were outmatched by the Blackhawk Cougars on the road and fell 57-0. The Tigers were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Cougars apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in August of 2023.
Brayden Mccarthy had a dynamite game for Blackhawk, rushing for 134 yards and two touchdowns on only six carries, while also picking up 34 receiving yards and a touchdown. Mccarthy got the majority of those yards when he took off on a run and that went for an incredible69 yards.
Beaver Falls will take on Imani Christian Academy at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Blackhawk, they will challenge Beaver at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday.
