Baseball Game Preview: McLoud Redskins vs. Harrah Panthers

For the second straight game, McLoud will face off against Harrah. McLoud will head out to take on Harrah at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. McLoud hasn't scored more than two runs for five games straight, a trend the team is eager to reverse.

McLoud will face Harrah after dropping another heartbreaker against Harrah on Monday, which marked the third time in a row the team's come within 2.1 of beating them. McLoud took a 5-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of Harrah.

For Harrah's part, Joey Mclaughlin was a major factor no matter where he played. On the mound, he didn't allow a single earned run while striking out 16 over seven innings pitched. Mclaughlin has been nothing but reliable: he hasn't given up more than one earned run in four consecutive appearances. He was also big at the plate, scoring two runs and stealing two bases while going 2-for-4. The dominant performance also gave him a new career-high in doubles (two).

In other batting news, Cash Flint was excellent, scoring a run and stealing three bases while getting on base in two of his four plate appearances. He has been hot recently, having posted at least one stolen base the last three times he's played.

Harrah has been performing well recently as they've won ten of their last 12 contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 12-5 record this season. The wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 9.3 runs over those games. McLoud's defeat dropped their record down to 3-11.
