Basketball Game Preview: Chamblee Bulldogs vs. Woodward Academy War Eagles

The Chamblee Bulldogs will take on the Woodward Academy War Eagles at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Chamblee is coming into the match on a three-game losing streak.

It's never fun to lose, and it's even less fun to lose 55-28, which was the final score in Chamblee's tilt against Shiloh on Thursday. While losing is never fun, the Bulldogs can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Georgia basketball rankings (they are ranked 420th, while the Generals are ranked 209th).

Meanwhile, Woodward Academy humbled Decatur with a 66-31 victory. The War Eagles have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won five games by 24 points or more this season.

Chamblee's defeat dropped their record down to 3-8. As for Woodward Academy, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 9-5.

Chamblee took a serious blow against Woodward Academy when the teams last played back in December of 2024, falling 71-12. That contest was all but decided by halftime, at which point Chamblee was down 41-9.
