Calvary entered their tilt with Mt. Pulaski on Wednesday with four consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with five. They came within a single  set of losing the streak, but they secured  a   2-1 W against the Hilltoppers. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest  victory the Saints have posted  since October 9th.
 Calvary was actually outscored in aggregate across those three sets (71-67), but they still managed to win. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-23, 17-25,  25-23.
 Ainsley Johnson paced Calvary's offense, picking up 16 kills. Johnson were helped by Elesha Levine and  Sophia McQuillan, who contributed 17 assists each. Finally,  Johnson was also a dominant defender, finishing with a team-high four blocks.
Calvary's win bumped their record up to 23-9. As for Mt. Pulaski,  the  loss snapped their winning streak at three matches  and leaves them with a 17-13 record.
 Coming up, Calvary will challenge Hartsburg-Emden at 6:00  p.m.  on Thursday. Mt. Pulaski does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
