Softball Recap: Marysville Monarchs vs. Thomas Worthington CARDINALS
After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Olentangy, Marysville was happy to have turned things around on Thursday. Their pitcher stepped up to hand the Thomas Worthington CARDINALS an 8-0 shutout. The win continues a trend for the Monarchs in their matchups with the CARDINALS: they've now won eight in a row.
Josie Bumgarner made a splash while hitting and pitching. On the mound, she didn't allow a single earned run over seven innings pitched. Bumgarner was also big at the plate, going 1-for-3 with one home run and two RBI.
