Two dominant guards in Ariauanna Hall and Ainsley Brown are getting ready to go toe-to-toe. The Tindley Tigers will wrap up 2024 with a road trip to face off against the Indianapolis Scecina Memorial Crusaders at 12:30 p.m. on Saturday. Both squads will be entering this one on the heels of a big victory.
Tindley is headed in fresh off scoring the most points they have all season. They blew past MTI School of Knowledge 83-16 on Thursday. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Tigers.

Tindley got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Rachel Day out in front who dropped a double-double on 14 points and 12 steals. The dominant performance also gave Day a new career-high in assists (six). Another player making a difference was Heaven Dickerson, who dropped a double-double on 23 points and 12 boards.
Tindley was working as a unit and finished the game with 21 assists. That's the most assists they've managed all season.
Meanwhile, you're bound to get a positive result if you outscore your opponent every quarter, and that's exactly how it played out for Indianapolis Scecina Memorial on Saturday. They beat Christel House by the very same score they won with in their prior game: 53-5. The contest was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached 28-3.
Tindley better keep an eye on Brown. She was instrumental in Indianapolis Scecina Memorial's win, going 12 of 20 on her way to 26 points and three steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Kaila Leath, who went 7 of 11 on her way to 14 points and seven rebounds.
Tindley is on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last nine matches, which provided a nice bump to their 8-4 record this season. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 53.4 points per game. As for Indianapolis Scecina Memorial, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 6-6.
Rebounding is likely to be a big factor in this contest: Tindley has been smashing the glass this season, having averaged 35.8 rebounds per game. However, it's not like Indianapolis Scecina Memorial struggles in that department as they've been averaging 23.6 boards. With both teams battling to corral missed shots, we'll see if one team can grab an edge.
