Basketball Recap: Eustis Takes a Loss

Eustis has been a dominant force so far, but they're in the middle of a mini-slump at the moment. They were a single point away from ending the streak, but they lost a 50-49 heartbreaker at the hands of the Forest Wildcats.

Eustis' loss came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Lomar Sparrow, who dropped a double-double on ten points and ten boards. Another player making a difference was Andrew Riley, who posted 12 points.

Eustis' defeat dropped their record down to 13-7. As for Forest, their victory was their eighth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 16-4.

Eustis has already played their next matchup, a 52-42 win against P.K. Yonge on the 20th. As for Forest, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 74-56 victory against South Lake on the 21st.
