Volleyball Recap: Franklin Comes Up Short

It was a proper cat-fight when Franklin duked it out with Lincoln on Wednesday. The Panthers lost 3-0 to the Tigers. The Panthers haven't had much luck with the Tigers recently, as the team has come up short the last three times they've met.

The final score came out to 25-11, 25-11, 25-16.

Lincoln was led to victory by Sami Rattay and Hailey Ocampo. Rattay had five aces and one block, while Ocampo had five kills. That's the most aces Rattay has posted over her last four matchups.

Franklin's loss dropped their record down to 3-11. As for Lincoln, they have been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 12-12 record this season.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Franklin will face off against rival Eagle Rock at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. Meanwhile, Lincoln is set to challenge their familiar foe Marshall at 4:30 p.m. on Monday.
