Buckeye will bounce into Monday's game after beating Holy Savior Menard, who they had gone 0-6 against in their six prior meetings. Everything went Buckeye's way against Holy Savior Menard on Friday as Buckeye made off with an 8-1 win. The Panthers might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won four matches by six runs or more this season.

Meanwhile, Ouachita Parish came up short against Grace Christian on Friday and fell 9-5.

Buckeye's victory was their eighth straight on the road dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 9-3. The wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.9 runs on average over those games. As for Ouachita Parish, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-6.
