Soccer Recap: Hoover Comes Up Short

Hoover was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their seventh straight loss. They took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Roosevelt Rough Riders. Sadly, that's the second time they've come up short against the Patriots this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 4-0 back in January.

Hoover's defeat dropped their record down to 7-13. As for Roosevelt, their win bumped their record up to 11-8-1.

Hoover will square off against Madera at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Roosevelt, they will be playing at home against San Joaquin Memorial at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Roosevelt is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 2.8 goals per game this season.
