Eastlake has gone a perfect 10-0 against Bonita Vista recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Friday. The Titans will welcome the Barons at 5:00 p.m. The two teams each escaped (but just barely!) with wins against their previous opponents.

While Eastlake's win against Otay Ranch wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Titans won by a set and slipped past the Mustangs 3-2. The Titans haven't had any issues with the Mustangs recently, as the game was their sixth consecutive victory against them.

Eastlake wouldn't go down easily and took Otay Ranch into a fifth set where they got it done with a five-point win. The match finished with set scores of 19-25, 25-18, 25-21, 23-25, 15-10.

Mater Dei Catholic typically has all the answers at home, but on Wednesday Bonita Vista proved too difficult a challenge. They skirted past the Crusaders 3-2.

Bonita Vista had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first two sets, they turned around to win the next three. The final score came out to 15-25, 26-28, 25-18, 25-23, 15-9.

Eastlake's win bumped their record up to 18-19. As for Bonita Vista, their victory bumped their record up to 9-13.

Everything went Eastlake's way against Bonita Vista when the teams last played last Wednesday, as Eastlake made off with a 3-0 win. Will the Titans repeat their success, or do the Barons have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
