Stevenson put another one in the bag on Saturday to keep their perfect season alive. They breezed past the Everett Alvarez Eagles to the tune of 42-3. The result was nothing new for the Pirates, who have now won six contests by 28 points or more so far this season.

Stevenson's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Antonio Borgomini, who rushed for 65 yards and three touchdowns, and also picked up 31 receiving yards and one TD. That's the most rushing touchdowns Borgomini has posted since back in October of 2024. Another signal caller making a difference was Fin Mink, who threw for 350 yards and three TDs while completing 78.3% of his passes.

Stevenson's win bumped their record up to 9-0. As for Everett Alvarez, their loss dropped their record down to 6-3.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Stevenson is set to square off against their familiar foe King City at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. The two teams have allowed few points on average (the Pirates 9.7, the Mustangs 7.6) so any points scored will be well earned. Meanwhile, Everett Alvarez will take on rival Soledad at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
