Preview: Fuchs Mizrachi Mayhem vs. Westside Christian Academy Eagles
Fuchs Mizrachi has been on the road for four straight, but on Tuesday they'll finally head home. They will be home for the holidays to greet the Westside Christian Academy Eagles at 7:00 p.m. Fuchs Mizrachi knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with flashy point totals in its past four matches -- so hopefully Westside Christian Academy likes a good challenge.
Fuchs Mizrachi pushed their score all the way to 78 on Tuesday, but even that wasn't enough to win. They took a hard 97-78 fall against Cornerstone Christian. Despite running the score up even higher than they did last Wednesday (69), Fuchs Mizrachi still had to take the loss.
Meanwhile, it's never fun to lose, and it's even less fun to lose 58-29, which was the final score in Westside Christian Academy's tilt against Reimer Road Baptist Christian on Saturday. The result shouldn't come as a shock considering that's the fewest points Westside Christian Academy has scored all season.
Despite the defeat, Westside Christian Academy had strong showings from Aaron Nicholas, who scored five points, and Trent Douglass, who scored six points along with 11 rebounds.
Westside Christian Academy struggled to get the ball back on offense and finished the game with only three offensive rebounds. That's the fewest offensive rebounds they've managed all season.
Fuchs Mizrachi's loss dropped their record down to 1-3. As for Westside Christian Academy, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 2-5.
