Basketball Recap: Victoria West Takes a Loss

On Tuesday, the Victoria West Warriors lost to the Fort Bend Kempner Cougars on the road by a 44-30 margin.

Fort Bend Kempner's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Landen Parker led the charge by putting up eight points along with seven boards and three steals. Those three steals gave Parker a new career-high. Coby Wilson was another key player, going 5 for 8 en route to 11 points.

Victoria West's loss dropped their record down to 11-13. As for Fort Bend Kempner, their win was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 12-10.

Victoria West has already played their next game, a 70-63 defeat against Randle on the 17th. As for Fort Bend Kempner, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 66-25 victory against Terry on the 17th.
