Preview: Scappoose Indians vs. Henley Hornets
Scappoose has enjoyed a two-game homestand but will soon have to dust off their road jerseys. They will face off against the Henley Hornets on Saturday. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are ranked near one another in Oregon (Scappoose is ranked 24th, while Henley is ranked 15th).
Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but only Scappoose walked away with it. They managed a 24-19 victory over Cascade on Friday.
Quinton Olson and Max Nowlin were among the main playmakers for Scappoose as the former picked up 91 receiving yards and a touchdown and the latter punched in a rushing score.
Meanwhile, Henley put another one in the bag on Friday to keep their perfect season alive. They blew past Junction City 35-14. Henley might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team's won nine matchups by 21 points or more this season.
Scappoose's victory bumped their record up to 10-1. As for Henley, they pushed their record up to 11-0 with that win, which was their seventh straight at home dating back to last season.
