Baseball Recap: Windham Comes Up Short

If Windham was riding high fresh off their 10-0 takedown of Nashua North on Wednesday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Jaguars fell just short of the Salem Blue Devils by a score of 5-4 on Friday. The Jaguars were not able to make up for their defeat to the Blue Devils from their previous meeting back in May of 2025.

With the loss, Windham broke their three-game winning streak and moved their record to 5-5. As for Salem, their victory ended a six-game drought at home dating back to last season and bumped them up to 4-9.

Looking ahead, Windham will challenge Bishop Guertin at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday. The Cardinals' pitching crew has only allowed 3.5 runs per game this season, so the Jaguars' hitters will have their work cut out for them. As for Salem, they will face off against Nashua South at 4:30 p.m. on Monday.
