Quincy waltzed into their matchup on Friday with seven straight wins... but they left with eight. Their pitcher stepped up to hand the Williams Yellowjackets an 11-0 shutout. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 17-1 on Friday.

The team relied heavily on Addison Gay, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with two stolen bases, two runs, and one double. That's the most stolen bases she has posted since back in March. Jenna Peay was another key player, going 2-for-3 with one stolen base, two RBI, and one run.

Quincy always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .538. That was just more of the same: they've now posted an OBP of .512 or higher in six consecutive games.

Quincy pushed their record up to 20-4 with the win, which was their fourth straight on the road. The road victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 13.8 runs over those games. As for Williams, they are on a 30-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-19.

As of now, neither Quincy nor the Yellowjackets have any future games scheduled.
