Central Connecticut I West recap October 22, 2013

Hall extended the longest winning streak in Central Connecticut I West this week by beating Southington, 49-37. The victory was the fourth in a row for the team.

Conard lost to Manchester 68-41 last week, the largest margin of any game.

Alex Jamele had an awesome week catching the football as the Blue Knights fell to Hall. He caught 8 passes for 255 yards.

Stephen Barmore was a passing and rushing force as Southington fell to Frank H. Robinson Iii's team. He completed 19 passes for 353 yards and 3 touchdowns and also ran for 30 yards. Barmore's key target this week was Jamele, who caught 8 passes for 255 yards.

Tom Honyotski threw for 390 yards and 3 touchdowns. He went 20-42 with 0 interceptions.

Jamele was the best receiver in the league this week as Mike Drury's team fell to the Warriors. Kyle Borawski helped Southington's passing attack out by catching 3 balls for 26 yards.

The Blue Knights' Barmore and Jamele have formed a dream team this season, leading the league in both passing and receiving yards. 6-2 quarterback Barmore has thrown for 1,326 yards this season, while Jamele has 38 catches for 749 yards. Simsbury's Brad Helmkamp leads the league in rushing yards with 558.

At the moment, the Chieftains are in fourth, while Southington is in first.

Hall made the biggest jump in the national rankings this week, rising to 2,105 from 3,389. They were able to move up in the ranks after a 49-37 victory over the Blue Knights last week.
