Baseball Game Preview: Bassick Lions vs. Harding Presidents

Bassick is 2-8 against Harding since April of 2015 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Friday. The Lions will challenge the Presidents at 6:00 p.m. Bassick has given up an average of 15.2 runs per game this season, but Friday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

Bassick is headed into Friday's matchup looking for a big change in momentum after dropping their 14th straight game dating back to last season on Wednesday. They lost 15-6 to Wolcott RVT.

Meanwhile, Harding was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their eighth straight loss. They came up short against Notre Dame Prep, falling 11-4.

Bassick's defeat dropped their record down to 0-12. As for Harding, their loss dropped their record down to 0-8.

Bassick took their win against Harding in their previous matchup back in May of 2024 by a conclusive 11-3 score. Will the Lions repeat their success, or do the Presidents have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
