Baseball Recap: Crawford County Takes a Loss

Crawford County extended their losing streak to three on Thursday, dropping their season record down to 4-17 in the process. They came up short against the Tell City Marksmen, falling 10-0. While getting shut out isn't ideal, the Wolfpack haven't been shut out since back in April.

As for Tell City, their win bumped their record up to 8-12. The victory continues a trend for them in their matchups with Crawford County: they've now won four in a row.

For Tell City's part, they got a big performance out of Ethan Fields, who went 1-for-3 with three RBI, one run, and one double. Those three RBI gave Fields a new career-high. Landon Sandage was another key player, going 2-for-3 with two doubles, two RBI, and one run.

Coming up, Crawford County will welcome Christian Academy at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday. As for Tell City, they will square off against South Central at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday.
