Basketball Recap: Thomas Jefferson School Takes a Loss + How To Watch

If Thomas Jefferson School was riding high fresh off their 34-13 takedown of Eagle Ridge Christian on Friday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Titan were dealt a 47-13 loss at the hands of the Victory Christian Academy Chargers on Tuesday. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Titan of the 40-22 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in December of 2024.

Despite the loss, Thomas Jefferson School saw an underclassman step up: freshman Dana Kim posted 11 points along with eight rebounds and eight steals.

Victory Christian Academy's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Albrey Jett led the charge by shooting 63% from the field to rack up 11 points. Karis Mathis was another key player, going 5-for-7 on her way to 10 points.

Thomas Jefferson School now has a losing record of 1-2.

Meanwhile, Victory Christian Academy will face off against rival Heritage Classical Christian Academy at 4:30 p.m. on Friday.
