Basketball Recap: Nathan Hale Comes Up Short

Nathan Hale was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their sixth straight loss. They took a blow against the Stilwell Indians, falling 82-14. The Rangers were not able to make up for their defeat to the Indians from their previous meeting back in January of 2024.

Stilwell found their leader in sophomore Kassidy Davis, who went 6 for 8 en route to 12 points along with seven rebounds and three steals. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Davis has scored all season. The team also got some help courtesy of Kate Wilson, who posted nine points.

Nathan Hale's loss dropped their record down to 2-9. As for Stilwell, their win ended a nine-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 1-14.

Nathan Hale didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 68-26 defeat against Cushing on the 25th. Stilwell has also already played their next game, a 62-39 victory against Inola on the 25th.
