Soccer Recap: Scotus Comes Up Short

Scotus fought the good fight in their overtime game against Gretna on Monday but wound up with a less-than-desirable result. They took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Dragons. The defeat continues a trend for Scotus in their meetings with Gretna: they've now lost three in a row.

The loss was their first on the road , dropping their record down to 3-3. As for Gretna, the win got them back to even at 3-3.

Looking ahead, Scotus will take on Lincoln Lutheran/Raymond Central/Parkview Christian at 5:45 p.m. on Tuesday. Lincoln Lutheran/Raymond Central/Parkview Christian will roll in looking for their fifth straight victory, something Scotus surely won't give up without a fight. As for Gretna, they will host Blair at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
