Timberline had already won four in a row and they went ahead and made it five on Friday. They blew past the Mountain View Mavericks 3-0. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 3-1 on Thursday.

Despite the defeat, Mountain View had strong showings from Macy Minert, who had 11 assists and three aces, and Alyssa Nelson, who had 16 assists. Nelson has been hot for a while, having posted 15 or more assists the last nine times she's played.

Timberline's victory bumped their record up to 11-2. As for Mountain View, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost three of their last four contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 10-7-2 record this season.

Timberline wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 3-2 loss against Thunder Ridge on the 26th. As for Mountain View, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 3-2 win against Tournament Team on the 26th.
