Baseball Recap: Comstock Gets the Win

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Bangor, Comstock was happy to have turned things around on Thursday. They never let the Bloomingdale Cardinals get on the board and left with a 16-0 win. The high-flying hitting performance was a huge turnaround for the Colts considering their two-run performance the game before.

Dom Narwick made a big impact no matter where he played. He looked comfortable on the mound, not allowing a single earned run and allowing only one hit while striking out 11 over four innings pitched. Narwick was also stellar in the batter's box, going 2-for-3 with three runs, one triple, and one stolen base.

In other batting news, Tyler Baker was incredible, going 2-for-3 with two stolen bases, three runs, and two RBI. Another player making a difference was Brandon Silva, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with two runs, one stolen base, and one RBI.

Comstock's first victory this season bumped their record up to 1-2. As for Bloomingdale, they are on a seven-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-3.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: Comstock beat the Cardinals by a score of 6-4 later that day.
