McKinley won the last time they faced Girard and things went their way on Tuesday too. The McKinley Red Dragons secured a 60-56 W over the Girard Indians.

McKinley's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was True Carey-Hardin, who went 8 of 14 on his way to 21 points and six rebounds. Izaiah Redd was another key player, going 5 for 8 to rack up 13 points along with five boards and three blocks.

McKinley's win bumped their record up to 8-12. As for Girard, their loss dropped their record down to 12-9.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. McKinley will venture away from home to square off against Edgewood at 6:45 p.m. on Friday. Edgewood has been dominant on offense recently, having racked up an incredible 185 points over their last three contests. As for Girard, they are taking a road trip to take on West Branch at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. West Branch will roll in looking for their fourth straight victory, something Girard surely won't give up without a fight.
