Basketball Recap: Keene Has No Trouble Against Ovilla Christian

Keene saw some tournament action on Friday. They strolled past the Ovilla Christian Eagles with points to spare, taking the game 72-55.

Several Eagles players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Sophie Henry, who dropped a double-double on 29 points and 20 boards. Henry has been hot for a while, having posted 11 or more boards the last 41 times she's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Zoey Hensley, who went 7 of 13 on her way to 17 points and five assists.

Keene's win bumped their record up to 13-8. As for Ovilla Christian, their defeat dropped their record down to 9-3.

Keene didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 50-25 victory against Milford on the 28th. As for Ovilla Christian, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next matchup, a 60-27 win against Jonesboro on the 28th.
