Soccer Recap: Zephyrhills Find Success

With a playoff win on the line, Zephyrhills rose to the challenge on Wednesday. They had just enough and edged the Fivay Falcons out 3-2. This was a revenge game for the Bulldogs: when they faced off against the Falcons back in November of 2024, they had to take a 4-1 defeat.

Zephyrhills' victory ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 5-16. As for Fivay, they dropped their record down to 3-12-3 with the loss, which was their third straight at home.

Zephyrhills will challenge Cypress Creek at 8:00 p.m. on Friday. Cypress Creek is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 5 goals per game this season. Fivay does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
