Rio Linda scored the most points they've had this season on Friday, but it wasn't enough. They took a 66-55 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Buhach Colony Thunder. The Knights were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Thunder apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in December of 2015.

Buhach Colony's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Carter Chapman, who went 7 of 16 en route to 22 points along with six rebounds and four steals. Chapman has been hot, having posted two or more steals the last six times he's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Jordan Cortez, who went 6 for 11 on his way to 13 points in addition to eight boards and six steals.

Rio Linda is on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-4. As for Buhach Colony, their record now sits at 2-3.

Rio Linda didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 68-47 loss against Roseville on the 10th. As for Buhach Colony, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 66-39 defeat against Oakdale on the 10th.
